Benjamin Crum, MA, AIA, PSP
Benjamin serves as a Senior Associate contracted to SACG acting as our security design expert. with extensive experience in crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) and designing safe environments.
Prior to founding his firm, Benjamin served as an Architect, Project Manager, and the Director of Design for McKissick and Associates, PA a multi-office architecture firm serving clients across multiple industries. Benjamin is a Licensed Registered Architect in Pennsylvania by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, is board certified by ASIS International as a Physical Security Professional (PSP) and holds additional certifications including CPTED Professional Designation (CPD), NFPA 3000(PS): Hostile Event Response – National Fire Protection Association, ALICE Certified Instructor, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor.
He is dedicated to furthering the safety and security of organizations through the innovative use of security through design and serves as a subject matter expert on both the ASIS International School Safety and Physical Security Steering Committees and on the Advisory Board for the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools, and holds a seat on the Board of Directors of the US CPTED Association, and has presented on a number of topics at security industry conferences.
